After Design Experience 4, you will send clear, motivating follow-up messages to school and district teams. These messages celebrate team progress, reinforce momentum, and outline key next steps. Each message should include a brief recap of accomplishments, links to essential tools and resources, and reminders of what’s most important as teams move forward. This message supports final revisions to the Bold School Concept and builds readiness for Design Experience 5.

Outputs

Customized follow-up message to each school team, including:

  1. A summary of Design Experience 4, along with resources
  2. Link to the school’s Next Steps tracker in the Design Journey Notebook
  3. Reminders about plans made during the last Design Experience and final Bold School Concept revision

Send a follow-up message to teams that includes the following:

  • A summary of the Design Experience: Highlight team momentum and share bright spots and/or insights from the experience.
  • Next steps: Explain next steps to the team and flag the relevant sections in the Design Journey Notebook for tracking progress and synthesizing new insights.
  • Key resources:

    • Copy of Design Experience Slide Decks

    • Team’s Draft Bold School Concept Artifacts
    • Bold School Concept Rubric
  • Timeline Reminders: Offer suggested timing under “Milestones & Deadlines” to support teams in hitting their key milestones before Design Experience 5.
