Putting It Into Practice

1

Initiate a check-in:

Reach out to each school team 2–3 weeks before Design Experience 5. This could be a short email, phone call, or virtual meeting based on team needs.

2

Ask about progress:

  • Finalization of Bold School Concept artifacts
  • Final round of community engagement and feedback incorporation
  • Illustrative Storytelling of Bold School Concept: Be prepared to support teams with creating a one-page poster, a mini slide deck, or short video so stakeholders can immediately visualize and feel the heart of your Bold School Concept.
3

Offer support:

Troubleshoot blockers and provide coaching if teams are delayed or unclear on expectations.

4

Celebrate progress:

Reinforce team energy and connect current work to the sharing and sharpening moment ahead in Design Experience 5.

5

Confirm logistics:

Remind teams what to bring and share any arrival or tech details.

6

Share with district:

Communicate team progress, celebrate bright spots, and flag any blockers with the District Team Lead.
