Overview

As school teams prepare for Design Experience 1, your team will play a vital behind-the-scenes role. In this step, you will help set the conditions for success by ensuring alignment across schools, equipping facilitators with context, and coordinating logistics so that everyone shows up ready to engage. You will act as strategic partners, helping to ensure the experience runs smoothly and building momentum for the design journey ahead.

  • Facilitators prepped for Design Experience 1: Facilitation partner is prepped with Facilitator Guide and aligned with the district team on logistics, roles, and school-specific context

Putting It Into Practice

Support facilitator preparation:

Partner with facilitators to coordinate logistics, resources, and communication with schools. Align on the district team’s role during the Design Experience to ensure a smooth, cohesive session. Bring helpful context to the table, including school-specific insights and any trends or patterns you’re seeing across schools.

Support school teams:

Make sure school teams are ready, including reviewing their Educational Outcomes Audit and Analysis (EOAA) and School Readiness Assessment (SRA) insights, bringing their EOAA posters with them, and completing all pre-work. Check that all Design Experience dates are on the calendar, and confirm any logistics—travel, sub coverage, materials, etc.—are in place.
