Overview

Following Design Experience 2, your team plays a light but essential role in supporting school teams as they prepare for Design Experience 3. In this step, you will check in with each school-based lead to monitor progress and surface potential challenges so that teams have the resources and clarity needed to move forward. You will also coordinate with the facilitation partner to provide responsive support and maintain alignment across teams. This support helps ensure that each school arrives at Design Experience 3 ready to build on its evolving vision with clarity, insight, and community voice.

Outputs
  • A pacing check-in summary or meeting notes documenting school team progress
  • Light-touch feedback on evolving school artifacts (e.g., comments, or a short email summary)
  • A written or verbal prep update for the facilitation partner

Check in to learn what teams are focused on next, where they may need help, and how the district can be supportive.

Identify and clear hurdles:

Surface any logistical, operational, or staffing challenges that could slow progress. Coordinate across departments if needed to remove barriers.

Coordinate with the facilitation partner:

Align on where each team stands, how post-work is progressing, and any adjustments needed to keep momentum.

Reinforce key priorities and timelines:

Ensure school teams have the clarity and support needed to move forward with confidence.

Provide feedback on artifacts:

Review draft Bold School Concept artifacts and offer feedback that is both affirming and constructive. Highlight strengths, identify areas for refinement, and check for alignment with district priorities and the overall design vision.
