Shared Milestone
Design Experience 3
Overview
In Design Experience 3: Rethinking the Learning Experience, your team will establish a robust understanding of XQ Learner Outcomes, Competencies, and Learning Experiences, all in alignment with and in service of the Bold School Concept. Leveraging insights from earlier design experiences, community conversations, and deep dives into two more XQ Design Principles, you will draft and refine a Learning Experience that combines rigorous academic content with XQ Competencies. After finalizing your Learning Experience, your team will prepare to gather further feedback from the community, fostering a collaborative approach to design.
Outputs
Learning Experience: A strong Learning Experience should summarize and highlight key academic, social, and cognitive goals and activities students will participate in, aligned with XQ’s Learner Outcomes and Design Principles.
Bold School Concept: Bold School Concept artifacts – tightening the Design Principle Executive Summary and Learner Outcome Alignment so they clearly show how the vision comes alive for students.
Goal
Develop and prepare to test one or more Learning Experiences that bring the school’s Model-at-a-Glance to life.
